Hamza Tahir 31st Annual Lorne Proteomics Symposium 2026

Hamza Tahir

Hamza Tahir is a PhD candidate in the Scott Lab at the University of Melbourne, where he investigates bacterial protein glycosylation and develops tightly regulated gene expression tools in Burkholderia. His research combines glycoconjugate engineering with synthetic biology to explore how post-translational modifications influence bacterial physiology and virulence, aiming to expand the genetic and proteomic toolkit for studying complex host–pathogen interactions.
