Hadeel Doehler 31st Annual Lorne Proteomics Symposium 2026

Hadeel Doehler

I am a PhD candidate at the Queensland University of Technology and work at the Translational Research Institute. My research investigates the MYCN gene locus in treatment induced neuroendocrine prostate cancer. I use molecular biology and advanced proteomics to explore the expression and behaviour of these proteins and how they influence cancer progression. Before beginning my scientific studies, I worked for many years in corporate and technical management roles. I gained experience in leading teams, building relationships across large organisations, and managing projects with many moving parts. These skills shape the way I approach research and collaboration today and allow me to work confidently across multidisciplinary environments. I am interested in research translation and in scientific work that connects discovery with practical impact. I enjoy being part of teams that move ideas forward and create meaningful outcomes for patients and for the scientific community.
